Many of the people who we support occasionally experience fear, distress and frustration. This course introduces the learner to ways in which we can reduce triggers for behaviour, and to strategies for de-escalating situations successfully

Many of the people who we support take medication to help treat a health condition that they live with. We may have to support them with this, and this course takes the learner through the theory required to work safely with medication
